There are many of definitions of the term “logistics”. Here some of them:
- S .O. Migiro and I. M. From data the Internet of a resource we take definition “stability“. Stability – is an ability of system to keep a current condition at presence of external influences;
In modern conditions, the western experts allocate some kinds of logistics:
- The Logistics connected with maintenance of manufacture by materials (purchasing logistics);
- Industrial logistics;
- Marketing (marketing, or distributive, logistics);
- Allocate as well transport logistics which, in effect, is a component of each of three kinds of logistics.
In a logistical circuit, i.e. a circuit on which pass commodity and information streams from the supplier up to the consumer, following main parts are allocated:
- Purchase and delivery of materials, raw material and semifinished items;
- Storage of production and raw material; manufacture of the goods;
- Distribution, including sending of the goods from a warehouse of finished goods;
- Consumption of finished goods.
Proceeding from the resulted definitions of the terms “logistic” and “stability”, from existing kinds of logistics we receive definition of « sustainability in logistics ».
Sustainability in logistics – is an opportunity of preservation of the optimum plan, the correct control and management behind movement of material subjects, substances and other.
