How will the world look like in 2060? A few perspectives from the EU, USA, UK, BRICS & MINT countries

In this lecture an overview will be provided of the most important yardstick to measure the economy: GDP and its components:

  • Consumption, Investment
  • Sectors:
    • Agriculture
    • Industry
    • Services

The economy of the EU will be discussed, including the so-called Centre-Periphery Theory

A comparison in time and between several countries (EU, USA, UK, BRICS and MINT) will be made.

  • Definition of Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
  • Measuring circular economy
