How is it integrated into the global logistics system?\u00a0For the time being\u00a0Russia has faced a problem of container yards shortage. Was there a similar problem in the West, and if it was,\u00a0what kind of\u00a0 \u00a0solutions to this problem have been applied?<\/p>\n<p>The director of <strong>Business CrossRoads Consultancy<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/business-opportunity-russia.com\/blog\/interview-with-jan-jansen\/\">Jan Jansen<\/a> gave the following answers:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Russia is the largest country in the world, so it is quite difficult to give an answer on this question. Between the large cities (&gt;500 000 inhabitants) there are good roads and railroads. In more remote areas it is of course more difficult situation, especially because of the long Russian winter.<\/li>\n<li>The integration is of course not perfect. <!--more-->Trade flows are still a problem from Russia to Europe and vice a versa, because of the EU and Russian legislation. The entrance of Russia in the <strong>WTO<\/strong> might give a boost to get rid of the complex paper work hampering the doing business with Western Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Yes, we had and still have. Solution could be investing in the storage infrastructure (good examples &#8211; <strong>Europort<\/strong> Rotterdam, <strong>multimodal transport<\/strong> center in <strong>Venlo<\/strong> etc.) by both the government and the private
