In 2010 the Vysota 239 rolling shop started operating. The new unit manufactures single-seam welded LDP in diameters up to 1420mm, wall thicknesses up to 45 mm and length up to 18 meters.
“The new rolling shop is this year’s largest investment project in domestic steelmaking as it can produce 600,000 metric tons per year of large-diameter pipe. Vysota 239 produces pipes in 508-1,420mm diameters, which are used for construction of gas and oil pipelines.”
